Scroll down to see 55 HD Images of this guitar Here’s a nearly perfect 2009 Fender 1959 50th Anniversary Stratocaster in a factory original Sunburst finish – #5 of 59 made. 81 at the 1st. 90 at the 12th. She’s in near mint condition and only has very slight, if any, signs of playwear – not much more than a few pick marks on the guard. The tremolo sticker is still on the bridge and it has the trem arm never been plugged in. The 1959 Fender® Stratocaster is among the most coveted vintage guitars for serious collectors. The’59 Strat differed from earlier incarnations with its slab rosewood fretboard, 3-ply mint pickguard, and unique dye in the sunburst finish that caused the red to fade, leaving a unique chocolate burst that resembles earlier 2-color bursts. Fender and Guitar Center offered a limited run of only 59 limited edition reissues back in 2009. Ash body with special’59 Chocolate Sunburst nitrocellulose finish. Maple neck with 9.5 radius rosewood fretboard, medium jumbo frets. Vintage-style Stratocaster tremolo. Limited run of only 59 guitars. The top, back and sides are really clean – no funky odors or repairs. The frets are in excellent and she has a fresh detailing, recent set up with 9’s and adjustment. 7.7 lbs on a digital scale. She comes with the original Fender hardshell case and paperwork as seen in the pictures.
